About the Department

The Department of Computer Engineering at Government Polytechnic Vikramgad provides quality technical education with strong focus on practical learning, programming, networking and software development. The department encourages logical thinking, innovation and problem-solving skills through laboratory work, projects, seminars and continuous mentoring.

Along with core computing subjects, students are introduced to emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing and IoT to prepare them for modern industry requirements and future career opportunities in the IT sector.
